MAG Community Update - April 18th
A reminder that there is an early dismissal on Tuesday, April 23rd for the monthly staff meeting.
Staffing Announcement for 2024-25:
It was announced this week that our Vice-Principal, Michelle Kennedy, will be transferring to École Sage Creek School to join the team there as VP for the upcoming school year. We will have more to say in thanks and recognition of the work Michelle has done as a member of our team since the 2019-20 school year. For now, we wish her well as she considers this upcoming role change and encourage you to connect with her before the end of June.
We will be welcoming Joy Perrott as our new Vice-Principal. She is currently a member of the team at École Varennes, and previously worked in the Winnipeg School Division. We look forward to having her join our team next year!
Jets Whiteout:
We are encouraging staff and students to wear white on Tuesday, April 23rd as the Winnipeg Jets host the second playoff game of the first round.
News from the Parent Advisory Committee:
There is a movie night on Wednesday, April 24th – see the attached poster, and consider signing up at the link below to volunteer.
The PAC will be holding staff appreciation week from April 29th to May 3rd and invites you to show all our MAG staff some love. They are asking those who are able to bring in goodies for our staff for Dainty Day on Monday the 29th and our first ever Dip Day on Thursday the 2nd. Please go to to sign up.
