Weekly News

Good afternoon NMC Community.

This afternoon our school was alive with the beat of the Big Drum. Students enjoyed a workshop with Four Sacred Hearts drumming group in recognition of National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. In the morning, students participated in land-based learning outdoors with teachers and visited our Truth and Reconciliation Legacy Garden.

We invite you to take time in the coming days and on the day itself to reflect on the tragic history and lasting impact of residential schools, to honour the survivors, and to remember the children who never returned home. Below is a list of events being held in recognition of this day.
